Digby Nova Scotia

This is the town that many of the Van Tassel's come from. There are many families some have changed the spelling of their names but can be traced back to the orginal family that came to Digby and was granted a piece of property in Mt Pleasant to farm and was the start of the Van Tassel's of Digby. My particular family was Howard and Robina Van Tassel. He was the son of Stephen John Van Tassel of Digby NS. Enjoy the blog
